Daka’
Seven days of repentance, restoration, and returning to God.

There is a kind of brokenness deeper than being hurt.
The Hebrew word daka’ carries the image of something crushed—ground down like stone becoming powder.
Biblical contrition begins when pride, self-defense, and spiritual swagger finally have nothing left to bargain with.
Not:
“Life has been unfair to me.”
But:
“God, I have sinned before You. I cannot excuse it, rename it, or repair myself.”
This is not self-hatred. It is the end of pretending.
And God does not turn away from the one who comes to Him with nothing left to defend.
Read: Psalm 51
Pray: “Lord, show me what I am still defending.”
