Broken, Not Despised
Seven days of repentance, restoration, and returning to God.

“The sacrifices of God are a broken spirit; a broken and contrite heart you, God, will not despise.”
—Psalm 51:17
David brought no defense.
He did not blame temptation, circumstance, loneliness, or another person. He named his sin and placed his broken heart before God.
That broken heart became his sacrifice.
God is not impressed by polished religion covering an unyielded life. But He will not despise the person who comes undone before Him in honest confession.
You do not have to arrive repaired.
You only have to stop hiding the fracture.
Read: Psalm 51:1–17
Pray: “Create in me a pure heart, O God.”
